"Greek in a Week"

Fresh Information.
Although the Covid19 issues are currently affecting meetings together, we still plan, and hope, to be able to hold this course. After discussion our intention is to have a 'mixed economy' - putting the course online in some way or another (possibly via Cisco Webex), but also holding it at Christ Church for those who wish to attend. This will be on the same dates as those advertised below. It remains a small possibility that we will not be allowed to hold it, but our set up would enable us to host a course for 10-15 people, on site, with all current precautionary measures required in place. Feel free to book in.
(We are still even able to access Greek food for the final meal!)

We are hosting a course which will teach the basics of Koine Greek. It will run from August 24th to the 28th, 2020, inclusive (the 28th will be an optional day). For further details please see below, or contact Rev Dominic Stockford. The church address is Christ Church, Christchurch Avenue, Teddington, TW11 9AB.

There will be a maximum of 25 spaces available. Book early to avoid disappointment. Contact Rev Dominic. A small deposit will be requested at the time of booking or shortly afterwards. The deposit will be £20 and in normal circumstances will be non-refundable (unless a significant issue arises, or the course is cancelled).

Accommodation and food will be part provided, please see the detailed information given below. There is  some basic information about the course below - and further information will soon be available (when I've worked out how to provide a pdf that you can download here!).

Travel is via SouthWest Trains (direct from Waterloo) - to Teddington Station (turn left as you exit platform 2, and Christchurch Avenue is 200 yards on the right, opposite a Travelodge. Also TfL Buses, the X26, 285, 281, R68, 33, and 481 all stop within 5 minutes walk of Christ Church. Parking can be made possible in local streets, the Travelodge has its own car-park.
