The following includes most of the regular events within the congregation, along with 3 sermons preached by the minister.

Ephesians 4 1-16 - One Body

Revelation 10

Ephesians 1

Monday:
Church business meetings are frequently held on Mondays.

Tuesday:
On Tuesday evenings there are two Bible Study Groups. One other, for ladies, meets on Tuesday afternoon, and
an older ladies Bible Study meets at various times once a month.

On Tuesday evening, from 6pm to 8pm, Mark Collins, the Youth Leader, runs Christ Church Covenanters. This is currently for the older church attending children, teenagers. They eat and discuss life issues together. Please see Rev Dominic for more details.

Wednesday:

There is a Ladies Prayer Group on a Wednesday morning at 9am, in the Church Hall.
From 10am until 12am we run a Mother & Toddler drop-in in the Church hall for anyone who wishes to come. There is no cost for attending, and we rely on donations to help us run this event.

From about 10.30am until 12.30pm we have 'Open Church'. The church is open to all who wish to drop in, for a time of tea or coffee, chat, and on suitable occasions for a time of prayer ('Simply Prayer').

At 8pm there is 'Parish Heartbeat', a weekly church prayer group that takes place in the Cyril Woodward Memorial Room in the Church hall. This is an open group for all who wish to take part.

Few scheduled events take place on a Thursday, partly because it is the minister's day off!

Friday:
On some Friday evenings a 'Youth Church' has taken place in the Church Hall. This is for the benefit of regluarly attending children. Currently it is not running - but occasional events are planned.

We run Christianity Explored courses, and also Discipleship Explored courses - but you will need to contact the minister to find out more details about when the next one might be starting.

Church Services.

Lord's Day services are the heart and the core of the congregation's activities. Currently the regular services take place at 11am and 6.30pm on a Lord's Day.

There is
normally also a service of remembrance of The Lord's Supper on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 9am.

In the services we worship the Lord, pray for the needs of the church and the world, and sing praises to our God. The services may take a variety of forms but they are all liturgical, and the key part of every service is the preaching of Scripture.
